Dr. Kasinathan Nachiappan completed his Graduated from Annamalai University, Chennai in 1997 and completed his Diploma in Ophthalmology from the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology- Govt Ophthalmic Hospital, Chennai in 2000. He went on to complete his DNB,FRCS(Glasg) and Vitreo-Retina Fellowship from SankaraNethralaya after which he underwent advanced retina fellowship at NHS,UK. He is an examiner of the Fellowship exams of Royal College of Surgeons. He is a surgeon par excellence and well renowned for his clinical acumen and surgical skills.
Dr. Madhavan Jagadeesan, Consultant Ocular Geneticist, Molecular Biologist & Genetic counsellor; completed his M.B.B.S in 1997 from Rajah Muthiah Medical College-Annamalai University. He then completed his D.O.(Diploma in Ophthalmology) in 2001 from The Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Madras and PhD from Vision Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya,in 2008. He went on to complete Fellowship in Ocular Genetics from the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto in 2009. He is an accomplished Ocular Geneticist, Molecular Biologist & Genetic counsellor. He is also a Director, Watson & Crick Centre For Molecular Genetics, Chennai.
Dr. P. Anantanarayanan Basic dental qualification from the Tamilnadu Government Dental College&Hospital, Chennai. Masters in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore. Fellowship in Cleft & Craniofacial Surgery from the NitteMeenakshi Institute of Craniofacial Surgery at Mangalore. Is a Diplomate of the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi and was conferred Membership to the National Academy of Medical Sciences in 2006. Has been inducted as Fellow of the International College of Surgeons in 2015. Has keen interest in the field of Craniofacialsurgery, Orthognathic surgery, management of congenital facial anomalies, distraction osteogenesisand facial reconstructive surgery. Invited speaker in national and international forums and has to his credit 26 publications. Has contributed two chapters to books in maxillofacial surgery. Currently working on a contribution to a book on Plastic Surgery. Is an independent reviewer to the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and International journal of Pediatric Otolaryngology, and is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery and Annals of Maxillofacial Surgery. Presently is a Professor in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Meenakshiammal Dental College in Chennai and consulting surgeon to the Meenakshi Cleft & Craniofacial Center, Chennai.
DR. C. Senthil MD(Gen Med) completed his MBBS from Govt. Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College , Salem in 2006. He then completed MD in Gen Medicine in 2011 from Govt. Royapettah Hospital, Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai. He is an accomplished physician with keen interest on management of diabetes.
Dr. Sathish Chander, D.A., D.N.B, completed his Diploma in anesthesia from Stanley Medical College, Chennai in 2006. He then completed his D.N.B. Diplomate of the National Board in Ophthalmology in 2008 from Sundaram Medical Foundation, Chennai. He is an accomplished anaesthetist with expertise in neonatal and adult intensive care, paediatric, neonatal, adult anesthesia as well as emergency procedures and fibreoptic intubation.
Dr. Sheetal N Bagare is a consultant ophthalmologist at DRR Eye Care and Occuloplasty Hospital. She has completed MBBS and DOMS under Rajiv Gandhi university. She underwent DNB Ophthalmology and long-term fellowship training in Cataract and Refractive surgery as well as Keratoconus management from Nethradhama Eye Hospital, Bengaluru under Dr.Sri Ganesh. She has received International Ophthalmic Hero of India award at AIOC 2020, Best paper award at Asia Pacific Association of Cataract and Refractive surgeons 2019 , Best video award at KOSCON 2019 and Gold medal for DOMS in 2015. She holds special interest in management of Cataract, Refractive surgery, Keratoconus and Medical retina.
Dr. Meenakshi CT has completed her M.B.B.S from Kilpauk medical college, Chennai and post-graduation in ophthalmology from Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. She was awarded the Dr. Ramakrishnan Endowment award for the Best Outgoing Postgraduate along with the Divya Chaturvedi Gold medal for Uvea from Sankara Nethralaya in 2016. She has completed her fellowship in Glaucoma from Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore. She has presented papers in various State, National and International conferences. She was also the Travel Grant awardee at the World Glaucoma Congress, Finland in 2017. She aims to create awareness on glaucoma which will aid early diagnosis and initiate appropriate medical or surgical intervention to ensure good quality of vision.
Dr. Swathija completed her M.B.B.S from P.S.G institute of medical sciences and research, Coimbatore. She completed her post-graduation in M.S ophthalmology from Aravind Eye hospital and post graduate institute of ophthalmology with honors (optics, refraction and community ophthalmology). She completed long term fellowship in cornea and microsurgery and has received extensive training in cataract surgeries from Aravind eye hospitals. She has performed more than 1000 phacoemulsification surgeries annually as Consultant. She was actively involved in training fellows and post-graduate students. Her special interests include cataract, lamellar keratoplasty, ocular surface disorders and refractive surgeries.
