A watery eye can occur either due to excess tear production or obstruction
in the drainage channels or reduced pumping action of the eyelids. It can be present since birth
or may appear later in life. Various procedures, like massage, probing, eyelid surgery, or DCR
(dacryocystorhinostomy) operation (endoscopic or external), etc., are needed for watery eyes
treatment.
